Personalise your leather notebook

At La Compagnie du Kraft, simply choose your favourite format, cover colour, binding screws and paper finish from more than 300 combinations for our standard leather range. Why not go one step further and get the lucky recipient’s initials engraved on the cover or add a special message to the bottom of each page? We can hot stamp up to 5 characters on your leather cover with a special machine designed to fully customise your leather covers, regardless of the size or shade. For the inside pages, we’ll print your message at the bottom of each page in black ink. Our notebooks are a modern yet timeless object that can accompany you wherever you go and be gifted for any occasion. The patina that develops over time will enhance this personalisation and your notebook will start to reflect who you are, whether you’re urban, nomadic or a bit of both. All our leather notebooks are assembled by hand in our small workshop in Poissy, near Paris. Each notebook is then signed by the specialist in charge of its creation, as a guarantee of the unique know-how applied to craft this beautiful, timeless object. Questions? If you are a INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMER, the approach is above all unitary but not totally limited: a leather cover can be marked with hot stamping, as in leather goods, but we also know how to use laser engraving to go further and work on a logo, if the graphics lend themselves to it: elegance when you hold us!

If you want thousands of items for yesterday, sadly, we can’t help you. But, if you’d like a handful of beautiful objects for tomorrow, that’s another story.

INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMER: customization instructions

(1) In the product sheet, the option leather cover monograms must be selected.
(2) Depending on the chosen notebook format, a text box is opened and indicates the number of characters possible: 6 for S and A6 formats and up to 15 for A4 and L formats. This limitation is not strict and you can ask us to extend it a little; but you can imagine that putting a verse of Baudelaire on eleven centimeters wide with characters that are ten millimeters high in uppercase might be complicated and not necessarily aesthetic.
(3) In this text box, you can use upper and lower case letters as well as the common accents used by the French language. Some special characters are available: @ # & : , ' / ? * oe é è ê ë ù û " " - ô ö à â ä î ï .
(4) In our typography label, the personalization is hot stamped without any material (gold or silver) at the bottom and on the left (centered for the iSTUFF notepads).
(4) If a personalization requires that you add a comment (position of the engraving, lack of space to put more characters), you can use the free text box located in the shopping cart, after adding your product.
(5) Sometimes your imagination leads you to particular requests that require longer explanations. In this case, do not hesitate to contact us in the Contact section. We can offer you to laser engrave a visual on the leather cover (the laser burns the leather, the lines must be fine), to print on reinforced kraft covers and to insert your own visuals in the notebooks, we carry out this kind of "hyper-customization" daily.

CORPORATE : customization instructions

First idea: we customize ALL our creations.
If you want a leather product, we start at 30 units, a reasonable number to allow you to amortize the tools and workstation set-up. Of course, we have been known to make only 2 or 3 pieces, but it's a matter of budget and there, it's your choice.
In the case of a reinforced kraft cover, we start at 80 pieces for letterpress markings, but, again, we can make fewer pieces depending on the level of customization (we avoid going under 15 pieces though).

Second idea: EVERYTHING is customizable.
The cover: from a logo (or several) to the marking of the identity of the recipients.
The inner paper: its finish (lines, dots, nothing), its design (a text at the bottom of each page? Possible!), its embellishment (insertion of visuals, personalized first page, numbering of copies).
The packaging: ring for the booklet, gift wrapping and its own personalization, addition of personalized correspondence, boutique bag.
Logistics: we can take care of the distribution of the notebooks to each customer as well as international shipments (50% of our products are exported to all continents).

Third idea: we are too small to flood the world.
Your luxury in using us is rarity. But not only that. We are careful to keep our products elegant. We accompany you on each detail: a budget tighter than what our estimate proposes, we find you solutions, a complicated personalization which gets married badly with our creations, we think with you on its simplification.
